1. First song played  in final tempo (note that the tempo is a matter of preference and skill level, you can play as slow as you like)
2. Me counting the rhythm in English
3. Me counting the rhythm in Finnish
Practice first super slowly hands separately and in small sections.
Then add those together when you're ready.
Add the pedal if/when you're ready.
Start slow and add speed little by little if you wish.

Neoclassical piano is characterized by balance, clarity, emotional restraint, and a minimalist musical language. Contemporary piano is a broad musical style that embraces influences from modern classical music, film music, pop, jazz, and other contemporary genres. Many listeners associate this musical language with composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Yann Tiersen, Max Richter, Philip Glass, and Michael Nyman. 
 
My own musical style draws inspiration from both the neoclassical and contemporary traditions while keeping its own artistic voice. I fell in love with this music as a teenager, and it has remained an important part of both my composing and my teaching ever since. It is my hope that this book will inspire you to discover the same joy, curiosity, and quiet beauty that playing the piano has brought into my own life. Welcome to the journey.
